albclips
Albanian long-form video → short vertical clips
albclips is a single-operator desktop tool, not a hosted service. These terms describe what it may be used for and what it deliberately will not do.
albclips (“the software”) is a desktop application that cuts long-form video into short vertical clips, subtitles them, and can publish them to a social media account belonging to the person running it. It is provided by its author to a single operator. It is not a hosted service and it has no user accounts.
Running the software means accepting these terms. Anyone who does not accept them should not run it.
The software acts on a social media account you control, using an access token you supply. You are responsible for keeping that token private and for revoking it if it is exposed. The software stores tokens only in environment variables on your own computer; it never transmits them anywhere except to the platform that issued them.
You are solely responsible for the source video you feed the software and for everything it publishes on your behalf. By using it you confirm that:
The software does not review what it publishes for legality. That judgement is yours.
albclips does not alter footage to defeat duplicate detection, does not fabricate engagement, and does not operate accounts other than the one that authorised it. Attempting to use it for any of those purposes is a breach of these terms.
Where these terms and the rules of a publishing platform disagree, the platform’s rules govern your use of that platform. Nothing here grants you permission a platform has withheld.
The software depends on third-party interfaces that may change or be withdrawn without notice. It may stop working for reasons entirely outside the author’s control, and no uptime or continuity is promised.
The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, account restrictions, or account termination arising from use of the software.
You may stop using the software at any time by deleting it and revoking the access token you gave it. The author may discontinue it at any time.
These terms may be revised. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of it.
